The Mazda CX-7 2010
Two Mazdas will make their Canadian debut at the 2009 Canadian International AutoShow. The first is the 2010 Mazda CX-7, which receives a new engine option: a 161 horsepower, naturally aspirated 2.5 litre four-cylinder that is also found under the hood of the 2009 Mazda6 and 2010 Mazda3. The second is the refreshed 2009 Mazda MX-5, which receives updated styling in addition to engineering and equipment upgrades. Mazda's stand will also include the redesigned 2010 Mazda3, in both 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback body styles.
2010 Mazda CX-7
For the 2010 model year the CX-7 is the recipient of an exterior and interior styling refresh to complement a host of engineering refinements. Leading the way is a new engine option. Making its first appearance under the hood of the CX-7 is Mazda's all-new naturally aspirated DOHC 16-valve 2.5 litre MZR four-cylinder that produces 161 horsepower at 6000rpm and offers maximum torque of 161 lb-ft at 3500rpm. It is available with Front-Wheel Drive coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Continuing as the top engine option is the familiar MZR 2.3L DISI Turbo (direct injection DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder) engine. Output remains the same, 244 horsepower at 5,000 rpm with 258 lb-ft of torque at 2,500 rpm.
A theme of refinement carries over to the 2010 CX-7's Mazda-derived platform architecture by incorporating improvements in body rigidity, lower noise, vibration & harshness (NVH) levels as well as reduced wind noise. The exterior design of the 2010 CX-7 features revised front and rear fascias with the front adopting the larger five-point grille design similar in appearance to recently redesigned RX-8, MX-5 and Mazda3.
On the inside the 2010 CX-7 receives higher quality materials, a new design for the gauges including blackout meters that feature three-dimensional dials and a 3.5 inch super-twisted nematic (STN) monochrome and 4.1 inch thin-film transistor (TFT) colour Multi Information Display (MID) positioned at the top of the instrument panel to provide the driver with enhanced information. Bluetooth compatibility provides a wireless connection for Bluetooth compatible mobile phones and portable audio devices. The front seats gain a three-position memory function for the driver's seat and a power adjustable recliner for the passenger's seat. A Blind Spot Monitoring System, similar to the one found on the Mazda6 & CX-9 is now available to assist the driver in avoiding collisions with other vehicles when changing lanes or merging with traffic.
Final specifications, pricing, trim levels and options will be announced at a later date closer to when the 2010 CX-7 goes on sale.
2009 Mazda MX-5
Twenty years ago Mazda re-created the segment for affordable, fun-to-drive roadsters by introducing the MX-5 Miata. In those twenty years the MX-5 has earned the title of best selling roadster in the world. For 2009, the third-generation MX-5 retains the fun-to-drive qualities of the original and receives updated styling in addition to engineering and equipment upgrades.
Mazda Canada will continue to offer the MX-5 in three versions: GX, GS and GT, all powered by an all-aluminum, DOHC, 167 horsepower, 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine with variable valve timing. For those that prefer the benefit of a closed coupe when the roof is up, the Power Retractable Hard Top is offered as an option on the GS or standard equipment on the GT. A few new standard features find their way onto all trim levels including side impact airbags, MP3 & WMA functionality on the CD player, a door pocket insert, and soft feel centre arm rest.
2010 Mazda3
Launched in 2003 as a 2004 model, the compact Mazda3 has become one of the best selling cars in Canada. Worldwide, there have been over 2 million Mazda3's built and since its introduction the Mazda3 has earned more than 90 automobile awards around the globe including the highly coveted 2004 Canadian Car of the Year. The definitive fun-to-drive compact, the 2010 Mazda3 looks to build upon that success with the style, functionality, safety, and economy to once again lead its class. Trim levels for the 2010 Mazda3 remain identical to the outgoing model, GX, GS and GT, but that's about where the similarities end.
The entry-level GX and GS sedan, as well as the unique to Canada Sport GX, are powered by an economical 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, 16-valve, DOHC engine that produces 148 horsepower mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The 2010 Mazda3 Sedan GT and Mazda3 Sport GS/GT trims are powered by the all new 167 horsepower, 2.5 litre four-cylinder and six-speed manual gearbox taken from the Mazda6.For 2010, there are more standard and optional features rarely seen in this segment of the market, such as a Traction Control System (TCS) with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), exterior mirror mounted turn signals, colour Multi Information Display (MID) with Navigation, smart keyless entry with Smart Start, a 10-speaker BOSEÆ audio system with Centerpoint and Audio Pilot, Sirius satellite radio, and an Adaptive Front Lighting System with self-levelling Bi-Xenon headlights.
Rounding out the Mazda display in Toronto is the full complement of Mazda's award-winning vehicles including the 2009 Mazda5 and 2009 Mazda B-series 2300 pickup both of which were recently awarded ecoENERGY awards as the most fuel efficient vehicles in their classes (van and pickup truck respectively) by Natural Resources Canada. The 2009 Mazda6, recently named "Best New Family Vehicle $22,000-$35,000" by the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) will also be on display as well as the RX-8, CX-9 and Tribute.

2011 ferrari enzo II
Considered by many enthusiasts as the ultimate modern Ferrari, the limited-edition Enzo’s replacement will be a tough act to follow up for the Italian automaker. The second-generation Enzo, also named after the marque’s illustrious founder, promises to take performance – and, surprisingly, efficiency – to a new level.
Like the original Enzo, the car’s successor will be a range-topping supercar aimed at immortalizing the legendary founder of the brand. Available only to select current Ferrari owners, the next-generation Enzo will serve as the brand’s performance and technology showcase.
Based – at least in concept – on the Ferrari Millechili show car (though the production Enzo replacement won’t carry that name), the performance car will be loaded with the technology learned from years of Formula 1 experience.
Expected to be powered by a mid-mounted V8 engine, rather than the Maserati-based V12 that motivated the Enzo, power should easily exceed 700 horsepower. Though fuel efficiency is hardly a Ferrari selling point, the car must conform to more recent European Union standards, meaning a new emphasis has been placed on reducing consumption. It has been rumored that Ferrari will use twin-turbocharging to make the most out of a smaller-displacement (think under 6 liters) V8 engine.
Key to addressing the fuel economy issue is a significant weight and size reduction, which should bring the car well down from the just-over 3,000 lbs. of its predecessor; rumors out of Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters indicate that weight could approach 2,200 lbs. Improved aerodynamics, including adjustable front and rear spoilers, will not only help the new Enzo stick to the road at maximum speeds, but it will also ensure reduced fuel consumption.
Its platform could go one of two ways: Either a heavily-modified version of the FXX race car’s architecture – itself a variation of the road-going Enzo – or a slightly longer derivative of the F430’s aluminum space frame.
Production will probably be at least as limited as the original Enzo, meaning no more than 400 of the 1 million Euro-plus supercars will emerge from Maranello when it goes on sale in over a year’s time.

BMW Concept X9
The BMW X9 is designed by Khalfi Oussama is a 18-year-old designer from Tunisia. This concept car design X9 has very futuristic and very aggressive color sense. It could be a proposal for a new Batmobile.
BMW has seen some rather odd looking cars roll off the production line over the past 10 years, but Khalfi Oussama’s new X9 off roader concept coupe takes oddball beemers to a whole new level. The X9’s massive wheels and excessively wide (not to mention oddly patterned) tyres combined with its color matched side-steps and heavy-duty crash plates front and rear definitely showcase the car’s intentions. At first glance, this concept car BMW X9 seems more suited to Hollywood than the actual driving in the streets. This will be used on any type of a car engine, is currently no detailed information, but because everything is the result of imagination, so anything is possible. As we know, attractive design and powerful engines rely on each other, but both a model of success in both play an important role.
Strange about the design of rich people sometimes go far beyond the imagination of car makers imagination, which launched in recent weeks from so many works on the concept car design is evident. This BMW concept car designed for 18-year-old X9 designer seems a lot of experience in automotive design, as he had also drawn up before several other models, futuristic design sketches, including BMW and Ferrari models.
The BMW X9 Concept blends the sporty bodylines of a coupe with the rolling stock of an off roader much like BMW’s chunky yet sporty looking X6 soft roader. The BMW X9 coupe also carries a new interpretation of BMW’s signature kidney grille, although Oussama’s version is considerably smaller than the current flock of BMWs. The grille sits alongside a set of unique twin-headlights, as well as a pair of tiny foglights that are set into the bumper.

Bentley GTZ Zagato Concept
At the 78th Geneva International Motor show 2008, Zagato Atelier takes great pleasure in introducing the Bentley GTZ, the latest in a long line of collaborations with the very best British car manufacturers over the Milanese Atelier 's 89 years history. Following on from the recent presentations of the Ferrari 575GTZ in 2006 and the Maserati GS Zagato at the Villa D'Este in 2007, the Bentley GTZ is a neo-classic Zagato interpretation of the style of a British GT. Starting from the styling cues of the last neo classical coupes, which became milestones of Zagato design in the new millennium, the challenge was to apply the same design language to a completely different proportion of vehicle: the Bentley Continental GT Speed. Even with many technical restrictions and carry-over parts in order to maintain the basic functions of this extremely sophisticated vehicle, the Zagato design team managed to give a distinctive and attractive character to the Zagato coupe. Pronounced fender lines, double-bubble roof, round tail with all new rear combination lamp are harmoniously integrated in to an imposing body adding a more aggressive and sharp feeling without losing the absolute solidity which is part of the great charm of the original coupe. The same time the hand painted pin-stripe coordinated with the interior colour adds a refined and exclusive elegance to the extrovert body lines helps to make the look of this car appropriate to be special limited-production model born between two great automotive cultures: Bentley and Zagato.

Bentley Continental GTC
The new Continental GTC is the show piece for Bentley design. The proportions of the Continental GTC are the epitome of the elegant and modern convertible. With a top speed of 195mph (312km/h), a sophisticated all-wheel drive system, state-of-the-art 12-cylinder engine, advanced air suspension and ultra-stiff body structure, the Continental GTC displays all the poise, exhilarating performance and dynamic handling of the Continental GT. In common with its stable mates, the interior of the new Continental GTC provides an unrivalled standard of craftsmanship, utilising natural wood veneers and leather hides of the finest quality, which are on full display when you lower the elegant, electro-hydraulically operated soft-top roof. The Continental GTC becomes the second convertible to grace the current Bentley range. It follows the recently announced return of the evocative Azure name for Bentley's Arnage-derived flagship four-seater convertible. While the Azure offers the ultimate glamour, sophistication and accommodation for adults in supreme comfort, the 2+2 Continental GTC is designed for customers looking to enjoy the phenomenal performance, style and excitement of the Continental GT with the additional benefits of classic open-top Bentley motoring. As on the entire Continental range, the GTC's design has also been influenced by the need to ensure perfect aerodynamic balance at speeds close to 200mph (320km/h). The convertible spent many hours in the wind tunnel to ensure a low drag coefficient and like the coupé and four-door versions it utilises an underbody diffuser and specially sculpted rear bumper and bootlid edge to provide downforce and stability at high speed. The front seats have a new sculpted rear which produces an additional 30mm (1.2 inches) of knee-space in the rear. In the rear of the Continental GTC the centre console finishes with a veneered panel just behind the front armrests, therefore leaving the rear seats as an uninterrupted surface of leather hide, optimising the maximum space for the proportion of the car.
The construction and packaging of the roof are second to none. Its designers were keen that absolutely all working parts would be covered, which means that whether you are inside the car as the roof is in operation or watching from the outside, not one piece of the mechanism will be visible. The roof comes with a heated glass rear window and also an interior rooflamp in the headlining. It can be operated after pulling away from standstill at speeds up to 30km/h (20mph).
The Continental GTC is powered by Bentley's magnificent W12 twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre engine, which will propel the car to 60mph in 4.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 195mph (312km/h). This awe-inspiring piece of engineering is identical to the unit used in the coupé and four-door versions of the Continental and delivers phenomenal power (552bhp/411kW) as well as that legendary wave of torque (479lb ft/650Nm) from low revs that is the hallmark of every Bentley.
The 12-cylinder block has a 48-valve head with four camshafts that operate using continually variable valve-timing. Power is transmitted via a seven-bearing crankshaft to the car's six-speed automatic transmission. To ensure compliance stringent emissions regulations, the twin turbochargers are designed with a unique bypass valve that automatically sends exhaust gases to heat the catalytic converters when the car is started from cold. This valve then operates as the turbocharger wastegate at all other times.
The Borg-Warner turbochargers are also the ideal solution for producing the flat torque curve, ensuring that the driver has instantly available performance without a hint of turbo lag or having to shift down through the gears. That mighty torque curve is constant, with no drop-off from its maximum output of 479lb ft (650Nm) at just 1600 rev/min all the way up to 6000 rev/min.

2009 Bentley Continental GT
This is probably one of the most unusual Bentleys ever seen: a large, happy flower, little stars, squiggles and signs dance on the elegant hood and colourful, comic-like figures adorn the doors. The Continental GT – a static prototype built in 2003 – has become a truly unique work of art created by the world-renowned Brazilian artist Romero Britto.
Raul Pires, Head of Exterior Design at Bentley Motors and like Romero Britto, a Brazilian was central to the creation of the Continental GT. He thoroughly agrees with his countryman: “A Bentley holds the unique combination of exhilaration and relaxation in one package. An automotive sculpture with elegant powerful surfaces. The ultimate in craftsmanship.”
The Romero Britto exhibition, hosted by the Automobil Forum Unter den Linden in cooperation with the Mensing Gallery, will take place from 10 July until 6 September 2009 . In keeping with Britto's wider ideals, at the conclusion of the show, the “Britto-Bentley” will be put up for auction in aid of the Nathalie Todenhöfer Foundation for multiple sclerosis as well as Best Buddies, an organization dedicated to improving the integration of the mentally disabled within society.

2012 Hyundai Veloster
Front wheel drive 2012 Hyundai Veloster are out and this sports coupe looks as good. Despite the test vehicle being camouflaged in black, Hyundai’s Veloster lives up to the expectations with its 2+2 seating after the Concept version released at the 2007 Seoul Auto Show. Besides an attractive exterior body style, the side windows are much improved- they stretch beyond the B-pillar. The tail lamps are positioned on the rear plane. The sides are taller with a long roof and a steeply raked windshield. The front and rear fenders have been made less fat and toned down. The dramatic stance is heavily brought down and it leaves car lovers slightly disappointed, especially people who were hoping for the next Honda CRX. The Veloster is inspired by the Hyundai Accent and is slightly longer than the Mini Cooper, while still retaining 70 percent of the Concept’s styling. It looks really small and comes with a host of power improvements in the form of the pretty decent 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, gasoline direct injection (GDI technology). The power figures are a neat 138 hp and 136 lb-ft of torque. There is also a choice of a dual-clutch automatic transmission or one can have manual transmission as well with an entry level power plant of over 40 mpg. Expected to hit the roads soon sometime later this year or early 2011, the Veloster is pegged at a neat price of US $18,000.

1964 Lamborghini 350 GT
The 350 GT was first unveiled at the 1964 Geneva motor show, showing off its new tamed engine, streamlined chassis, and more elegantly designed body. The new beast’s four-cam V12 engine was reduced from 360 horsepower to 270, at 6,500 rpm. Like the concept 350 GTV, the production version had four-wheel independent suspension and an aluminum body. The first production car of the 350 GT was built shortly after it’s unveiling. Production sales of the 350 GT started slow, with only 13 production models built in 1964. The 350 GT soon impressed journalist and car enthusiasts around the world, and production increased to 25 cars per month. The follow year, Lamborghini introduced the groundbreaking mid-engined Miura as a rolling chassis at the 1965 Turin Auto show. Then covered by Gandini’s body design the 350 GT made yet another unveiling at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show. Lamborghini sold a total of 120 production models of the 350 GT, over the next few years. The grille was often revised, a second windshield wiper and cowl air intakes were added, and the leather dash was eventually replaced with a polished aluminum dash.
Lamborghini 350 (1963)
Lamborghini created his first prototype car, the 350 GTV. The 350 was Lamborghini’s first 3.5-liter V12 supercar. It was first unveiled to the public in 1963, at the Turin Auto Show. The new car created a stir in the media. This was because not only of its looks, but also because of the fact that this was a challenge to the famous Ferrari. At the same Auto show Lamborghini met a man named Carlo Anderloni, who at the time had gained fame for many Alfa Romeo bodies. They both joined forces and decided to create a more feasible production version of the prototype 350. Less than a year later, the team introduced a resigned version of the 350 GTV, and called it the 350 GT.
Another coachbuilding factory was commissioned in the mid-1960s to create a mid-engined supercar. It was known as the Miura and was powered by a four-liter V12. In 1966 the four-liter engine was available in the front-engined Lamborghini as optional equipment. This version became known as the 400 GT. A few examples were built before it was replaced by the 400 GT 2+2. The two-plus-two configuration made the supercar a little more practical, allowing room for additional occupants in the rear seats. The design of the 2+2 varied slightly from the 400 GT. The 2+2 was constructed of steel while the 400 GT used aluminum. The most distinguishable difference was the double-oval headlights in the front of the 2+2.

Holden Special Vehicle - HSV sports car Press Release:
Australia’s high performance car manufacturer, Holden Special Vehicles, has launched a limited edition model to help celebrate 20 years of its most successful and enduring nameplate – the ClubSport.
The ClubSport brand first appeared as a permanent fixture within the HSV sports car range back in June of 1990 as a VN HSV ClubSport. Featuring a 5.0 liter engine boasting 180kW and 400Nm only 410 VN series ClubSports were built. The model has evolved today to become the highest selling vehicle in the HSV sports cars line-up.
General Manager of Marketing and Communications, Tim Jackson, said this milestone was worthy of celebration for the company. ”If we step back 20 years to 1990, this really was a watershed year for the HSV sports car brand. Not only did we introduce our first ClubSport model in June but 1990 also represented our first Bathurst, victory with the Holden Racing Team, who are also celebrating 20 years of success this year."
”The ClubSport has such great history and meaning within our business, and it has always been our purists vehicle - bringing track focused performance and handling to a road vehicle,” Tim Jackson said.
For that reason HSV has taken a ‘back-to-basics’ approach with the 20 years of Clubsport model producing a feature packed high performance vehicle for the true HSV collector. The 20 Years of ClubSport model will receive as standard HSV’s performance suspension, 20 inch Pentagon wheels in Millennium silver and leather seats for no additional cost.
It will be identifiable by a unique decal on the rear window, which the HSV enthusiast will recognise as a modern iteration of the original VN “CS ClubSport” badge, to commemorate the anniversary of the model.
General Manager of Sales, Darren Bowler, said he expected the car to be well received within the HSV Dealer network and amongst HSV’s strong customer base. “With this level of value add at no additional cost we anticipate the 100 vehicles will move very quickly and good luck to the person who manages to grab No.1 in the model build.
“City Motors HSV in Perth recorded the highest HSV vehicle sales in 2009 and have been rewarded with the privilege of retailing the No. 1 vehicle to the lucky HSV buyer,” Darren Bowler said.
The 100 limited edition 20 Years of ClubSport models will start appearing in HSV Dealers show rooms across Australia from late June. The vehicle will come with an RRP of $66,690 for manual and $68,690 for automatic.
