TORONTO, ONTARIO – The Stars of Canada Karting and television Series announced today that it will be heading to Ottawa and Montreal, Quebec next week to conduct interviews with drivers that have sent in bios to the Stars of Canada offices.
Stars of Canada will be in Ottawa on Saturday, Feb 7th and in Montreal on Sunday February 8th.
“It is time to make the trip up there and see the other drivers that are interested in competing in the series,” said RBA’s Russ Bond. “We have had significant interest from other parts of the country, and as it is the Stars of Canada, not the Stars of Ontario, we will interview drivers from other areas of the country that wish to join the series.”
Drivers wishing to be interviewed for the series must send in a bio before an interview can be set. There is still time for drivers from the Ottawa and Quebec area to submit bios for next week.
Stars of Canada is a unique karting series that will feature a reality television series that will be based on the competitors in the series as it travels across the Southern Ontario karting facilities.
The Stars of Canada TV Series will showcase Kart Racers from across Canada in a 10 Event (5 Weekends) televised, 2-cycle karting championship with $100,000 in Prize Money up for grabs. The three classes being represented are Pro, Junior and Cadet, with the Pro class also having an over 30 yrs. group. The class structure and event locations will be announced shortly.
The first season will see the Series debut on the third weekend of every month starting in May at the World Renown Mosport International Raceway and concluding in September at Innisfil Indy Karting, Ontario where the $100,000 will be won.
