Richmond Hill, ON. June 7, 2006 Rally of the Tall Pines Organizers are pleased to announce two new appointments to the team.

Jérémie Thibeault has been appointed to the position of Marketing Director. Jérémie is currently completing his 1st year as a student at the Canadian Automotive Institute at Georgian College in the Bilingual program. He hopes to pursue a marketing career in the automotive industry and is looking to gain valuable experience while working on the Rally of the Tall Pines.

Jérémie was born in raised in Kapuskasing Ontario, and has a great understanding of the conditions the drivers will be facing in Bancroft during this year’s Rally of the Tall Pines. He is looking forward to the rally because, as he says, “My interests are cars and cars, since as long as I could remember, that’s been it.”

Steven J. Day has taken on the position of Public Relations Director. He too is a student at Georgian’s CAI, and has also attended the Jim Russell Racing School’s Mechanics Team training program. Steven was born in Saskatchewan, but has lived in Ontario for most of his life. He is married and has a five-year old son, whom he is grooming to follow in his car loving footsteps.

As an avid race fan, Steven is a huge follower of the WRC, but says, “the closest I’ve come to trying rallying are a couple of time speed distance events. I am very excited to be working at an organizational level with Canada’s largest rally event.” Steven is also a regular competitor in Solo 2 events at both the club and regional level and organizes Autoslalom events at a club level.

Tall Pines is pleased to welcome both Jérémie and Steven to the team.
