ABT Presents Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 V10 with 600 Ponies in Geneva

Never satisfied with the stock products of the Volkswagen Group, ABT Sportline presented its take on the new Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 V10 at this week's Geneva Show. The German tuner's treatment revamps both the look and the performance of the two-seater roadster.

ABT Sportsline starts with the R8 Spyder's 5.2-liter V10 engine that receives a 75HP bump for a total output of 600HP allowing the car to make the run to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds and top out 320 km/h or 199 mph.

A sport suspension with new springs and a choice of 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tires are also available for the R8 Spyder.

On the outside, ABT Sportsline added a bodykit that includes a unique grille, a new front bumper with a lip spoiler, side skirts, a new rear bumper that houses a different diffuser and four tail pipes, and a fixed rear wing, all trimmed in carbon fiber.

The tuner also brought along a few other modded Audis to Geneva including the 620HP R8 GTR Coupe and a kitted-out A8 limo (see photos below).
