LUCAS OIL ESS: 730 Truck Stop signs on

SYRACUSE, NY – Bob Lodge and his 730 Truck Stop has been a staunch supporter of auto racing in Canada for many years. This season he has added the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) to the long list of tracks, drivers and events that he likes to add his support. The popular truck stop located on exit 730 of Route 401 in Cardinal, Ontario is a major point fund contributor to the Northwood2/LaSalle Motorsports Canadian Sprint Series.

While Lodge has continued all his support with the local scene he has added ESS for the 2009 racing season. “I am proud to support ESS for this season as the race teams have been supporting me for many years now.” said Lodge. “Teams from both US and Canada stop in when they are traveling to ESS events and now I would like to give something back to them.”

The famed stop for 18 wheelers of both countries provides all services from repair, fuel, food to a fun atmosphere. If you are not a “trucker”, you can still stop in to fill up both your vehicle and yourself with award winning food. The 730 logo has been on the sprinter of Bubby Kerrick for three years now but fans will notice the name on all the sprints at each ESS event from May to October.

With the help of 730 Truck Stop, the events held north of the border carries a record point fund and is open to all sprint teams. With all the concerns of the economy, companies like 730 Truck Stop have stepped in to give the racers a little extra dollars to shoot for. Tracks that will host events for the record paying Northwood2/LaSalle Motorsports Series are Autodromes Granby, Drummond and Edelweiss along with the Ohsweken and Merrittville Speedways.

The 26th Anniversary season for the Lucas Oil backed sanction that showcases the very best in “America’s Race Cars” is ready to kick off on Memorial Day Weekend with stops to Fonda and Utica-Rome. Names like Poirier, Yonge, Bergeron, Parent, Cook, Hebing, Kelly, McDonald. Barger, Wickham, Kerrick, Ladouceur and many, many more will be ready to thrill sprint fans from all over.
