From Inside Track StaffTSN.ca is reporting that Paul Tracy is on the verge of announcing his return to the IRL with former CART champion Jimmy Vasser's KV Racing squad.The deal looks to be for the Indianapolis 500 and will give Tracy another shot at winning an event that has thus eluded, despite a controversial close call in 2002 while driving for Barry Green.
It's expected that the Canadian events in Toronto and Edmonton will also be part of the deal.
If Tracy's pace in his last IRL outing (the 2008 Rexall GP of Edmonton where he just missed out on the podium) is any indication, he still has a shot at race wins.
