Not racing, but....

Last summer, we had a feature in Inside Track on some racing 'wives' who are doing great things for different charities, in concert with their families' racing programs. It's fantastic when people can combine their passions with goodwill toward others.

As some of you may know, about 10 years ago, my wife Melody underwent stem cell and bone marrow transplants as part of her treatment for non-hodgkins lymphoma. We're very fortunate that because of some great doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook and Princess Margaret Hospitals, everything turned out well.

A few days ago, Melody signed on with a 'team' to take part in the 60 Km 'Weekend to End Breast Cancer' (Sept. 12-13 in Toronto) so she can help to raise some money to help others win their battles.

Here is a link to Melody's sponsorship page if you'd like to consider sponsoring her in this great event. Thank you for your consideration.
