TopCar Targets Russia's New Money with Porsche Panamera Stingray

Russia's newly formed high society will soon be able to turn to one of its own tuners to make their Porsche Panamera stand out from the crowd as TopCar has officially revealed its Stingray program for Stuttgart's four-door sports saloon.

Developed in cooperation with domestic tuner Cardi (bodykit design) and Germany's 9ff (performance upgrades and build), TopCar's Panamera Stingray comes with a full bodykit made from carboxylic fiber that includes newly designed front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear diffuser, new bonnet and a twin rear spoiler.

The sport saloon's exterior looks are rounded off with a new set of 21-inch multispoke alloy wheels.

The carbon-fiber theme is continued in the not-suitable-for-epileptics interior with the dashboard, steering wheel, door panel and center console all finished in "authentic carbon", while TopCar also upholstered the seats and other parts of the interior with high-quality quilted nappa leather.

Performance-wise, TopCar said that the Stingray's package includes a new sport suspension that brings the Panamera a little closer to the road and an engine kit comprising of a new exhaust system and reconfigured ECU, without however, getting into any more details.

TopCar will display the Porsche Panamera Stingray for the first time in Russia at the Moscow Dream Car Show on April 2 while the international jet-set will get a chance to see the car in the flesh at the star-studded Top Marques exhibition in Monaco on the 15th of April.

Top Gear: First Episode of Season 13 goes Online

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard that the new season of Top Gear went on air this past weekend. The highlight of the show was when former formula one world champion Michael Schumacher supposedly revealed himself as the man behind "The Stig's" racing helmet, although many suggest -and we tend to agree- that it was merely a publicity stunt. The first episode also includes a first test drive of the Lotus Evora, the Stig races the Ferrari FXX while Clarkson, Hammond and May set to find out what Top Gear may have been like sixty years ago. Watch the video after the jump.

VIDEO: Top Gear Reveals The Stig

The first episode of the thirteenth season of Top Gear that aired on BBC on Sunday, June 21st, started with a big bang as Jeremy Clarkson unmasked 'The Stig' revealing his true identity in front of a live audience. However, whether the mystery has finally been solved is still up for debate - you can't be certain with these chaps, perhaps it's another prank from Clarkson and his fellow presenters, who cares knows. What's not up for discussion is the marvelous marketing strategy behind Top Gear. But anyway, we not going to spoil the surprise for you - no, it's not Susan Boyle. Hit the jump to find out the identify of 'The Stig' and tell us what you think.

It's been a long break, but the boyz from Top Gear are coming back with the first episode of the thirteenth season scheduled to go on air on Sunday, June 21, 2009. In true Top Gear fashion, the creative folks over from BBC have produced a witty teaser trailer that shows Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May as well as the man we've all come to know as the 'Stig', in their very early years dreaming of what they want to do when they grow up. Video: Top Gear straps a Car on a Space Shuttle & tries to send it to heaven and back

This is what you get when you combine a budget larger than life and the imaginative creativity of an immature group of men. Damn we feel jealous of those folks over at Top Gear... Once again, they managed to outdo themselves by strapping a 3wheeler Reliant Robin on a self-made space-shuttle complete with an external fuel tank and solid rocket boosters.
Their goal was simple: send the remote controlled car-space-shuttle (seems they learned their lesson with Hammond’s accident) straight into heaven and back. We won’t spoil all the fun by telling you what happened but if you’re one of those impatient types, jump a few scenes till the counter on your left says 2.30 sec remaining.
