Lexus' LX570 gets Invaded by ASI [with Video]

Japan's tuning specialist, ASI, thinks the Lexus LX570 full-size SUV needs a good ol' bump in styling and performance.

The tuner's Invader package takes care of the looks, although there has been no news yet of what engine upgrades are supplied. With the basic 5.7 liter churning out 381 horsepower, any intake/exhaust/ECU tuning would likely bring that number above 400.

ASI has bigger plans than just the standard tune-job, though, with a nigh-600 horsepower package on the way. It should run to 60 in under 5 seconds.

Unfortunately there's only one image to go from, so all that can be said is this: the body kit's nose looks decent, if a tad over the top (e.g. that front bumper is about 6 inches too tall). Lose the lower lip / fog light area and move everything higher.

Actually, forget that. It's not like owners would have to worry about off-roading, anyway. Honestly, who takes their Lexus LX to the trails?

Japan's ASI Working on Ferrari 458 Italia Tuning Proposal with F430 / Modena-Like Front

The tuning folks over at ASI have published teaser photos of two styling packages that are under consideration for the Ferrari 458 Italia that made its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this month. The final design has yet to be decided, but in both proposals, the 458's front intake has been replaced with larger twin air inlets that mimic the styling of the outgoing F430. The photos also show that the package includes new side skirts, a rear wing and different alloy wheels, all finished in black. Not bad, not bad at all.

ASI Readies Performance Upgrades for the Ferrari F430

Japanese tuner ASI -in case you're wondering, ASI stands for 'Accuracy' Spirit' and 'Imagination', has revealed details on the company's first project outside of the Bentley Continental series in the form of the Ferrari F430 project. The complete package includes lightweight aero parts, engine upgrades and an even sportier suspension setup.

The available aero parts from ASI include a front bumper ($5,000 US), side skirts ($4,000) and rear bumper ($6,000). Alternatively, customers can order the full body kit at a cost of $15,000 US. According to the Japanese tuner, while the body kit offers aerodynamic performance identical to the Ferrari stock parts, the new components weigh 27kg or 59 pounds less than their factory counterparts.

ASI's tuning program for the F430 also includes an ECU upgrade (the firm did not reveal any performance figures) and a Sachs suspension system priced at $7,500 and $13,000 respectively.

ASI Tunes the 2009 Bentley Continental GTC

ASI Bentley Continental GTC TuningWhile most vehicles leaving the Crewe factory in England are bound to spend their whole life without any sort of customizations, there are some owners who wouldn’t mind jazzing up their Bentley. One of the few tuners that specialize purely on Bentley cars is a Japanese firm called ASI which stands for “Accuracy Spirit Imagination”. ASI’s latest proposition concerns a full bodykit for the drop top Continental GTC. -Continued

The package comprises a front bumper spoiler with a carbon fiber lip and LED daytime lights, side skirts, a rear bumper with a carbon fiber lip and exhaust cutter and finally a discreet boot spoiler made out of -you guessed it- carbon fiber. The aero kit is complemented by a set of 22-inch alloy rims wrapped in 265/30 tires up front and 295/25 at the rear.

ASI’s $800,000+ Bentley Continental GT Based Tetsu GTR

We don’t want to seem offensive or anything, but even though the hand painted bodywork on this Bentley Continental GT based Tetsu GTR from ASI is original Japanese artwork by Nakamura Tetsuei, we do find it kinda weird to dress you car’s hood with flowers. Especially if someone finds out that you paid something north of $800,000 or 520,000 which is the starting price for every one of the 29 Tetsu GTRs that the Japanese tuning firm will produce.

Artwork aside, ASI’s Tetsu GTR features an aggressively styled wide-bodykit (+1,800 mm) that includes dry carbon bonnet, trunk and rear wing spoiler along with several mechanical upgrades the most important being the modified 6.0L W12 engine that now produces 800 Hp. –More pics after the jump
