JL Racing announces that it has signed P.J. Groenke to drive the number 92 Saab 93 Super Touring Car in the 2009 Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championships. Groenke will start the season at The Mosport Speed Fest in May and will compete in 5 races including the Honda Indy Toronto and the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres.

JL Racing will be competing with 2 cars in the Super Touring division with Groenke in the number 92 Saab 93 while Lockhart will be debuting the all new number 93 2008 Saab 93. “P.J. will handle the driving duties on our tried and true car while I will be developing the new car. I am sure P.J. will finish at the right end of the field while I hope to learn and develop the 2008 car for the future. Needless to say it will be a fun and exciting year”, Lockhart added.
