TORONTO, ON - Compass360 Racing Team driver Matt Pritiko is looking to make up points in the 2009 Koni Challenge Series this coming weekend at the New Jersey Motorsports Park. He and co-driver Travis Walker were very competitive at Homestead Miami Speedway, but sadly mechanical problems ended their run. A fresh powerplant in the Compass360 Racing Honda Civic Si should get Pritiko back to the front of the field.
"I’m really looking forward to a good result in New Jersey. We had such a great finish at Daytona that the DNF at Homestead really hurt. That’s behind us now and the Compass360 team is ready to go."
Pritiko hopes to get a podium finish with his Compass360 Racing Honda Civic Si in a very tight ST class battle. “Qualifying well is so important in this class. The field is very competitive so a good starting position is a huge advantage."
The Grand-Am Koni Challenge takes place at New Jersey Motorsport Park May 1 - 2, 2009.

Matt Pritiko Fast Facts: Matt Pritiko is one of Canada’s up and coming stars of motorsport. He is from London Ontario. In 2007, Pritiko completed his rookie season in Koni Challenge, finishing 15th in the standings, with a top five and four top tens. Pritiko was a member of Sunoco’s Team Ultra 94 and collected 1 win, 2 poles and five podiums in the Bridgestone F2000 Series. In 2002, Pritiko is was 2nd in F125/80cc in the Point Pelee Championships and took home the 2002 Most Sportsmanlike award. Pritiko is supported by Burwell Auto Body.
